Ella came home from school very excited a couple of weeks ago.
She told Ryan and I that her class was going to have a talent show and that she wanted to participate.
She said that she would like to sing a song- one of her favorites and her class song from last year- fireflies.
She had already signed up and requested a microphone and everything!
We were so excited for her, even though it was only ONE day away!
We looked online and found the lyrics and she practiced over and over all night.
Sami and Tyler were so nice and burned the song onto CD for her to take.
On the day of the talent show Jack, Lilly and I all went to the school to show her our support.
Ella started getting very apprehensive and was unsure if she would be able to do it.
Practicing her song while we waited her turn.
There were so many talented kids! One in particular stood out to me.
He did a lip sink to the song "Somebody's watching me" by Rockwell.
It was SO funny!
It was SO funny!
And then it was Ella's turn!!!
Ella- feeling so happy it was over and very proud of herself.
At the end all of the kids got up to dance.
Ella's got some very unique dance moves, that's for sure!
Right after the talent show was Ella's lunch.
So of course Jack wanted to stay and eat there.
I used to be so good about going and having lunch with Ella.
Again, this whole three kids thing is something I'm still trying to figure out.
I'm going to try to be better.
(I love that Mr. Stevenson, Ella's principal is waving in the background!)
Ella- you were amazing! We are so proud of you! Love you Belly Bug!
