New Years Eve

 Top 9 pictures from Instagram
We had a great year, with up's - Disneyland, Jack's baptism and trips to Colorado.
But there was one hard down- with Aaron passing away.
I've been reflection on this year and can't believe how many changes have happened.
And can't help but feel hopeful that next year will be even better.

New Years and nothing to do.. I saw an ad for roller skating and we decided to try it out.
Lila HATED the skates and was so much happier with a scooter.

Look at those moves!

I offered to get Lilly a scooter like Jack and Lila, but she loved having the skates!

Sami and Tyler came and brought Maisy along too!

Ryan might be a big guy, but he's not too bad when it comes to skating.

To say that Ryan and Tyler were happy to win the dance off would be a major understatement..
Such goofy guys!

After skating we took the kids home and put them to bed so Ryan and I could go out!

 Tucanos for the special night!

It was nice to go our with just us and my parents. We haven't done that in a while.
Look how cute they are! Matchy-matchy!

Happy New Year!
So excited for the next chapter in our lives.
Who knows what it will bring.

The Week of Christmas and Our Stay-cation!

After Christmas we slept in, ate lots of yummy treats, played games and watched movies.

Ryan was able to take the whole week off, something he almost never gets to do!

Ryan's brother Elliott and family were able to come see us as they traveled through Utah.
We got to meet baby Stella! Lilly and Lila sure loved her!

Although these guys play together online all the time, that's all they wanted to do when they got together in person too!

The next morning the girls couldn't wait to go see Stella!

 Jack, Grady, Gavin and Miles
These guys are all pretty close in age and even though we don't see them very often, they always play so well together!

 Time for Vacation!
Ryan and I planned a little stay-cation.
We got a hotel downtown and surprised the kids!

We picked the hotel right next to the ice skating rink!

Ella's pretty dang good!

 I love this video!
Lila saw some people doing some pretty amazing tricks and she had to try to do the too!

Back to the hotel and we were too tired to swim.
We watched some TV and had some treats.

Chocolate hands!

In the morning we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

All the hot chocolate you can drink!

Thankfully we still had time to go swimming for a bit before we had to check out.

It was so fun splashing and playing in the hot tub while it's snowing outside!

We got dressed and checked out.
Short, but fun.

We then finally saw the new star wars movie!
I have to admit, I chocked up a little while old characters came on screen.
So nostalgic!

We got dinner before making our way home.
Ella was especially so helpful the whole trip! I don't know how we would get along without her!

Christmas 2015

All of the kids slept in pretty good, getting up around 8am.
We brushed some teeth and hair and waited while I turned on all of the lights and some music.

It was so sweet! Jacob and Natalie had asked if they could come over and watch the kids come down on Christmas morning.
When the kids started waking up they rushed over just in time.

The whole gift to share thing didn't work out so well...
Lila wanted to open it, dang it!

 Nice sister Lilly gives in..

That face.. that's why I do all of it..

Jack made us a special gift at school. He was so excited for us to open it!

Santa with a little Grinch in the corner. I will cherish it always.

Ryan never wants to smile, but then he always hates pictures of himself...

We started to get down to the last few presents and realized that were almost all for Ella. Oops, that wasn't planned well.

All Ryan has wanted are these things called "Butt Shakers".
You install them INTO your couch and they make everything vibrate along with whatever you're watching or playing on TV.
At least I got him something I knew he would like.

Thank heavens for Sarah's help :)

And just like that, it's all over.
What a mess!

What a sweet Daddy to put "make up" on Lila.

In fact I posted it on Instagram and the company shared it on their page.

And then Ryan spent the ENTIRE day installing his new toys.. I hope it's worth it.

 Christmas dinner.
I know I always say it, but we like having holiday dinners as just our little family.

Lila went through many different clothing options during dinner.

Such a wonderful day, topped off with a wonderful meal.
We talked a lot about our savior and why we really celebrate Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
