Happy Halloween

We were so excited to go trick or treating this year!
Ella got all dressed up a few hours before, so that she was ready the second I said we could go!The night before was the ward trunk or treat so Jack knew what was going on and was READY!
The weather was so nice! It seriously was the best Halloween weather we've ever had!
{Last year was so hot and in Utah it's always pretty cold}

Had to take a quick break, but soon he was off and running again!
Ella was running from house to house, we kept having to call her to stay with us and not get too far ahead. Jack got so good that he wouldn't even hold his bucket out, he would just kind of turn his body.
He was running and giggling the whole time!

Ella did NOT like all of the scary Halloween decorations. She said "they freak me out!"
Several times she got tricked into thinking something wasn't real {like this guy} and then he leaned over "you want some candy!?" She was so sad she got tricked, again! She's like me, doesn't like the be scared.

I was very happy to see so many kids and families out trick or treating! I haven't seen this many people out since I was a little girl! Maybe it was the weather or maybe it was the neighborhood {almost every house had candy!} but it was the most fun trick or treating ever! That night we had been waiting around for Ryan to get home. We had several friends who had invited us to go trick or treating with them. But when 6:15 came around, I gave up waiting and just started the kids around here in our neighborhood.
I'm so glad that he made it in time to see them go to a few houses.
When you've got people walking through your model homes there's not a lot you can do.
Even on Halloween!
The only picture of me on Halloween. Gee, thanks Ryan.

Look at all that candy! They got so much! Jack loved loved loved all of the gun! {He gets it from his grandma who lives on the farm!} Ella loved anything and everything!
One nice lady was handing out brown paper lunch sacks, we thought that was a little weird, so when we walked around the corner and Ryan and I opened them- they were filled with TOYS! Play jewelry, plastic animals! It was the best things the kids got!
I was very happily surprised though that they didn't eat too many treats.
The only person who ate too much candy was RYAN.
He said he woke up the next morning feeling just awful. You're not ten years old anymore Ry!
We hope everyone had a happy and safe Halloween!
