Midsummer's

I was so excited when I heard about a big midsummer's up in Salt Lake and knew I had to take the kids. What I didn't know was how hot it was going to be, we were all melting!
We got there a little late, but still had lots of fun things to do!

Lila heard the music and had to dance.

Transitional Swedish music.

Jack loved all of the cute little things to play.

Showing his Swedish pride!

Thank you Formor for the beautiful wreaths!

We all had to get several drinks with how hot it was.

The kids played some games and got face paint.

Jack kept wanting to take the camera..

More of Jack's camera work...

Of course we needed to take a picture with the king and queen of midsummer's!
We met up with some of our Lewis/Swedish cousins!

They serve a nice traditional dinner there, but with four kids and it being so hot we decided to dine elsewhere.

Dinner and Ikea still counts right!?

What a wonderful day! I'm so glad we went and can't wait to go again next year!
Glad Midsommar everyone!!
