Mom & Bizzy's Birthday and Lake Michigan

Me and the kids try and go to Wisconsin every year. We've been pretty luck that we have been able to go the last several years. This year it was extra special and almost everyone was able to be there for MOM'S 50th BIRTHDAY!
For a couple of months before all of us kids talked about going in on a gift for Mom. Many things were discussed before finally deciding of picnic tables. Mom's always wanted some for outside. Because when the Orr's get together there's always a LOT of people!
Everyone kept it a secret. Dad and the boys worked many hours preparing in secret.
Mom really started getting worried when Dad didn't get home on time. Little did she know that all of the boys were in the barn on their property putting together the tables.

All of us kids gave her a picture of all of the grand kids too. It's funny to me, it'll be outdated in less then a year, two times over!

Finally the boys finished the tables and had mom close her eyes while the carried them from the barn.

She was surprised. I hope you like them Mom!
Great job Dad and all the boys! They are seriously the nicest picnic tables I've ever seen!

My Aunt, Karla Lewis took this picture of all of us kids! There are so many of us! We're all grown up too!

Time to party! Matthew loves dogs and loves my Bunny!

Maisy is MY cousin, she and Ella love playing together!

The little girls

The kids always end up playing football!

Ella and Lucy had their own game of football!

Dad's always the BBQ man! We need a lot of hamburgers!

Me and my Mom

Aaron and Ethan

This is one of my favorite pictures from that night. All of a sudden Samuel just ripped his shirt off and started singing and dancing. Weirdo.

Ethan, Ella and Maisy

The boys got the drums out and played a few songs for us. Everyone loves it when Aaron sings his insult songs. That's one really nice thing about living in the country, nobody cared that there were outside banging on drums until late at night

Then it was cake time! Bizzy got to blow out that candles, with a little help from Matthew!
Happy Birthday to Mom and Bizzy!!!
I'm glad that you got your wish Mom and had all of your children there for your big 5-0 birthday!
I know, it's crazy, my Mom was still in her 40's!! Welcome to the 50's Mom!

The next morning we all packed up for a fun day at the lake!
The grandsons love Papa's car!

Ella and Lucy!

Sweet Maffy!

We had been a little worried about the weather, but it turned out to be a perfect day! Lake Michigan is so nice!

Kylie sipping her Ba in the shade!

Jack loved playing in the sand with all of the sand toys! I'm just soooo happy that he wasn't eating any sand this time! At least not that I saw anyways!

Fatty loved playing in the sand too, but he did eat some. Yum.

Mr. K burying Matthew in the sand!

And then together burying Ethan!

Mary and her boyfriend C-O-R-Y! Ohhhaa....

Dad!

Lucy Goosey!

Sarah and baby Li-li!

Jacob and Adam

Building sandcastles

Ethan loved shoveling the sand!

My sister in law Jamie and me!
I wish that we lived closer so that we could sew and be crafty together!

Me and Sarah!
When we were little people used to think that we looked like twins!
I wish that I lived closer to her so that we could go shopping and drink diet coke together
