Before we knew it school was starting again!
Ella had been so looking forward to the big day.
After meet the teacher night and having the teacher over to our house for a little home visit
(her teacher is so awesome and always goes to each students house the week before school starts, just to get to know the children and their families!)
Ella couldn't wait to be in school and having fun!!
Ella jumped out of bed and got ready for school faster then she ever had before.

As soon as we got to the school Ella found some of her friends and classmates from last year.
I am so glad we decided to keep Ella in the same school. It will be a little more tricky to get her there and home then if she were to go to the school right around the corner, but we feel like Ella will really benefit from the consistency.

While Ella was at school Jack and I made some cupcakes to have as a special treat for when Ella came home

That night we took the kids out to eat at one of Ella's favorite restaurants- Wingers- to celebrate the start of another great school year!

She sure has grown up, especially over this past year!

I love to see all her past pictures...oh and her long hair. She looks more grown up with it short.
