July 4th Weekend

We had so much fun planned for the big weekend!

We started the fun on Friday by going over to John and Tiff's for a BBQ

Ryan made some ribs. Jack LOVES ribs!!!

He would have eaten all of them if he could! He doesn't leave anything but the bone.

All of the Robinson and Prince cousin's were there. Ella made lots of new friends!

We had so much fun and ate way too much!

After we ate we drove up to Provo to watch the stadium of fire- fireworks!

Jack was a little cranky, he wanted to keep taking a nap in the car. Adi make him feel so much better by sharing her chicken nuggets!

Lisa and her family met us there too.

All of the girls had fun running around and being goofy!

Too much candy and sugar makes for a crazy girl!!

We sat right beside the hospital

All of the boys thought it was so cool that helicopters kept coming and going.

I hope everyone was okay...

It started getting dark.....

Tiff brought some walkie-talkies for the kids to play with, Jack sure thought that was fun!

Ella loved that Tiff bought all of the kids cotton candy!! Thanks Tiff!

Even after the fireworks started, the kids were still going wild

It was such a perfect night and we had such nice seats!

On our way home Jack was still so tired... he smelled something bad and asked "Dad, did you fart?" Ryan- "no." Jack- "Yes you did, I know it! You stink, don't fart Dad!"

Jack was soooo mad!! Poor guy, he fell asleep a few minutes later

Sunday morning was a big day for our little guy- he gave his first talk in primary!!

He spoke about Heber J. Grant and developing talents.

He did great! Way to go Jack-Jack!!

Monday morning (The 4th)we woke up really early and drove down to Provo to watch their big parade!

We stopped to get some doughnuts.. what a madhouse! I'm never doing that again!

Most of the parades in Utah county have all the same floats, but Provo had a few new ones we hadn't seen yet.

The little mermaid was Ella's favorite!

All of the men thought this was the best float ever!

Even Jake had to get out of his seat and clap for Darth

Jack loved the big balloons they had!!

Every year the missionaries serving in the Provo mission walk in the parade.

Ella and Jack tried shaking as many of their hands as they could

It was so sweet, Jack just kind of leaded next to Ella and put his arm around her.

Even though Provo doesn't throw out candy, it was still a lot of fun!

Later that night Ryan took Ella to another REAL soccer game.

They even had fireworks after!

One of these days I hope to make it to a game with Ryan!

Sami and Tyler both had to work, but as soon as they got off they came over to light off some fireworks!

It was kind of windy, but the boys got things going

At first Jack was so scared and didn't want to come outside, even locking us out!

Poor guy!

Ella loves fireworks and sparklers!

She was skipping and jumping and twirling

He finally decided to give it a try... not so scary after all!

Happy Independence day everyone!!!!

We had a great weekend! I think that the kids fell asleep in the car every night for the past week! I hope that means they are having fun!

Last night the Ballards came over to watch movies and the kids all laid in our bed to watch a movie.. and all ended up spending the night!

Love those impromptu sleep overs!!

Next: We leave for St. George to see the RIGG'S family!!!!!
