Elizabeth's Wedding

The night before Bizzy's big day!
We decided to have a little bachelorette party for her. Just some treats and things at the house.
First we had to go get some!
With Mary being big and pregnant and Cass having a bum foot they got to rock these awesome scooters! It was so funny, Mary couldn't stop laughing... and running into things!
Bizzy has had such a long hard road...
Married a guy from high school, had two kids.. but it just wasn't working out.
The missionaries in her area even taught her husband the discussions, but it just didn't work out.
They got divorced.
After Bizzy was out on her own again she wished that she could meet someone who would treat her better and love her the way she deserved. Someone like that one missionary who had taught her ex-husband. Then one day that missionary contacted her! He had always wondered how she could be with a husband that treated her so badly and obviously didn't love her. She was such a nice wife and mother, he wanted to marry someone just like her someday. They started talking, then dating, then they got engaged. But there were things to be worked out, it would take some time. It took a long time, but to them it was worth it, to be married in the temple.
So finally this past weekend, they did it! Bizzy and Tyler were married in the Salt Lake temple.
It was so wonderful to see Bizzy in the temple!! I cried just a little. For all of the time she was trying to have the perfect little family that just wouldn't work, she just needed to wait for her missionary to come and save her.
It was so fun to have so many people there cheering them on! She looked Beautiful (i'll try and add pictures later)
All 6 of us sisters were there, all worthy to enter the temple.
It was a good day.
Lilly got to wear a dress that Neinah had worn to some of us older kids weddings!
She liked how it floated up in the air conditioning.
After Bizzy and Tyler left for their honeymoon we got to spend some time with Jet and Leo who were staying with my parents! Sarah and her boys were here too! Lots of fun with cousins'.
We all went to check out the new sporting goods store.
There were lots of places to take silly pictures.
Matthew wanted one of him hanging off the jeep!
Poor Jet was so sorry that he decided not to go on the big ferris wheel.. it was a lot of fun.
Gabe loved the bear... Lilly did not.
Jack had so much fun playing with his cousin Jet. They hardly know each other, but that didn't stop them from having a great time together.

We decided it would be fun to try and get a picture of all the cousin's together.
(Missing are Lucy, Benny, Kylie, Chyler and Scarlett, Anders and Franny's babies who aren't born yet!)
Best we could get... My parents have 16- soon to be 19 grand-kids!

The kids love being at Grandma and Grandpa's!
Lilly especially loves Bunny! I'm just glad that I don't have to have a dog, they can play with one at Grandma's house. Bunny obviously is a good dog, who lets little children ride her, pull her ears and lay all over her.
One evening all of us ladies made it out for a girls dinner.
We played a game "What's the weirdest thing in your purse!?" Maybe Sarah wanted to play because she knew she would win. She had Thomas the Train little boys underwear- wasn't sure how clean they were! Although Mary was a close second with a bunch of crouton's smashed in the bottom of her purse.
I I love a girls night!!

Back to School night and Ella's First day of School

Summer is over... time to start school yet again!
The kids were so excited to go and meet their new teachers!
Jack was SO excited to finally go to the same school as Ella!

I have to drive 16 minutes one way to take Ella and Jack to this school.
It costs a lot of money and this year a lot more with an extra trip to the school everyday, but it's totally worth it. Consistency! This will be Ella's 4th year at this school.
She has so many friends and knows almost all of the teachers.
I have to say it's pretty nice for me to call the school and say hi and have Chantalle in the office know who I am.
This year was something totally new for Ella- a male teacher! I have heard wonderful things about Mr. Millward! So far, everything has been great! He is a really chill, relaxed guy who loves doing science, just like Ella!
Jack was a bit nervous about being in a "big kid" school. Knowing that Ella would always be close made him feel a lot better. In fact she passes his classroom all the time and can look in and check on him. Jack's teacher, Mrs. Parsons is wonderful! Everything you would want in a kindergarten teacher! Jack loved his classroom and is sad that he has to wait a whole week to start!
First day of 5th grade!!
Holy cow, that sounds SO old! Only two more years in elementary school.....
My pretty girl
Of course Lilly wishes she could go to school too.
We were in the grocery store when she saw this backpack and HAD to have it.
This morning when Ella was making her lunch and packing her backpack Lilly ran and got hers too.
Except all she has in her backpack is a juice box, crackers and some toys.

This was the first year that Ella wasn't so sure about having her pictures taken at school.
She was afraid it was going to hurt her "social life".
Great.....
Jack had a dentist appointment that morning.
A little scheduling error I made. Good thing Ryan had time to take him before work!
(Something he's never done before!)
So that left Lilly in the car waiting alone with the sleeping baby.
Of course she was heart broken! She wanted to go to school too!!

Much happier now!
Although I had to hold her down to buckle her into her car seat right after this.
She really did want to go to school... As soon as she's potty trained, she's going to pre-school!

After school my Mom went and surprised Ella by picking her up in my Dad's little sports car. She said she really thought it would boost her popularity. Hahahahahaha!
I feel the teenage years creeping up on me........

Lila- One month Old

One month old already! I can't believe how fast that went!
The first month was a little tricky. She spit up a lot and scared me with her weird breathing.
But she also grew a ton and started really smiling!

Swimming up the Canyon

Going up the canyon is so nice.
All I have to do is sit in a camp chair, eat food and hold my baby.
It's always fun when lots of people come along.
These guys are almost a year apart. They are just about the same size though!
Ella loves to explore. She's proud to say that shes a "Tom boy".
Everyone is always so helpful in watching Lilly. She's so sneaky.
One of Jack favorite things to do is find kindling for the fire. He's my best helper man!
It was a hot day and all of the kids had fun playing and splashing in the cool river water.
Dad can't ever just sit- unless it's in front of a TV- so he decided to make a little dam.
It made a  nice little pool for the kids to swim in.
Ella was the only one brave enough to go all the way under!

My dirty little bird.

Again, these are the children of a Mother who has her hands full.
The biggest change with having 4 kids is that I just can't get to everything anymore.
These kids sure loved ruining their swimming suits by sliding down the hill on their bottoms.

Ryan couldn't sit still anymore either. So what's he do? Go pick a fight with my Dad.
Ryan splashed Dad good, so Dad was going to try and throw Ryan into the river.
Nice Ryan, using our little daughter as a human shield!
Looking over on Dad's dam.
He seriously spent the entire day making it. I think he said his legs and feet were numb after that for a long time. (The water was pretty dang cold!)
32 years of marriage.
