A few weeks ago the dance studio the girls go to asked if any of the kids would like to be in the local parade. Lilly was so excited and was counting down the days. She especially wanted to wear her costume again!
So early this morning we got up and got her all ready and met with all of the ladies from the dance studio.
The rest of the kids and I got some donuts and a good spot in the share to watch the parade.
I love parades and have fun memories of going to Elk Grove parade as a little tiny kid.
Jack saw his teacher from last year, Mrs. Barton- a favorite!
Isla ran out to give all of the missionaries big hugs!
The best was the pirate ship with Jack sparrow on it.
Finally Lilly's dance studio made it to us.
Lilly was so sad! I wasn't sure why, I guess that she didn't have any more candy to throw and that she wanted to sit on the bench seat.
See.. once she was able to make it onto the seat... much happier!
All of the kids got Popsicle's for their hard work.. of throwing candy!
Lilly had a great time and was so happy she got to be in a real parade!
