Camping

With it being later in the year we decided we better get some camping in while we still could.

Ryan loves camping.. I bet that has a lot to do with the fact that he doesn't have to pack, set up and then watch kids all day.... Just saying.

Ella and Jack are really good helpers. They set out to set up the tent all on their own,

Lilly helped unpack the car and set up the table.

Lila just caused everyone a lot of stress.. 

After everything was all set up we are lunch and played some games.

Ella and Jack decided to check out a little path near our camp spot..

After sitting around a while we decided to take a little hike around and check out all of the other camp spots.. checking it out for next time.

Back at camp it was snacks and more snacks.

I swear camping is so expensive just on food.. what else are we going to do?

In the evening Sami, Tyler and Gemma came to hang out for a little while.

All of the kids loved this hammock. We might need to get another one.

We ate dinner and smores.

Ryan was meeting us after work.. but it was getting so late I was afraid he wasn't going to make it until so late.. I was thinking about going home. But he finally made it!

Just in time for bed.

The next morning.

We borrowed my Mom and Dad's camping stove. They have had it since I was a little kid.

I think it's about time to get a new one.. many one of our own.

Lila loved the hot chocolate.

When we asked if she was having a good morning relaxing in her chair.. this is what she gave us.

So relaxing...

After hanging out all morning we packed up and headed down the canyon. We decided to stop at the caves to see about taking a tour, but Lilly and Lila were too small..

The kids thought this phone was SO weird!

They also had no idea how to use it...
