An evening on the Lake

After Ella's game Andre invited us to go, along with Ryan's parents out on his boat.

Ella and I especially were so tired and didn't want to go, but are glad that we did and we ended up having a lot of fun.

We dared Ella to jump into the water. She would NOT do it. All until we said we would give her a dollar. Jumped right in. Stinker!

(She would not stop asking for her dollar until I finally gave it to her in the car on the way home)

I thought that Jack might be afraid of being on the boat, at first he was a little apprehensive.
Within a few minutes he loved it and kept asking when it was his turn to drive the boat.

Then Andre got the tube out! Ella couldn't wait!

She wasn't afraid at all!

Then Jack was ready for his turn too!

My kids totally surprised me with how fearless they were!

Usually they are such scardy cats!

And they were off!

I think that Jack really liked it. His hair was being so funny, flapping in the wind!

Helping Grandma

It had to happen at some point!

Ella fell off!

I thought for sure Ella would be crying, but she said she was just worried we didn't see her fall off and wouldn't come back for her. As soon as we got her into the boat she was fine and never did cry.

Then it was Andres turn. Ryan tried his dang hardest to make him fall off, but he never did!

It was so nice as the sun went down. We stayed out until it was dark.

Thank you Andre for having us! We all had a great time!

(We missed Melissa and Jolie who were in Omaha!)
