Ella's 7th Birthday Pictures

The other day we went and took some pictures of Ella for her 7th birthday!

I think that she's the most beautiful little girl in the whole world!

Fun in the Pool

With Ryan being home more we've spent a lot more time in the pool lately.

It's been a lot of fun! Ryan's taught Jack how to swim so well! Jack loves to hold onto Ryan and swim under water. Don't they look handsome with their goggles on!?

It's so funny to watch Jack swim under water and even pick up diving rings!

All we hear all day, while not in the pool, is "Go shwimming on Dadda's back!?"

Jack also loves to count down Ready set go! Or 1, 2, 3, GO!

This morning he was talking to me and showing me how he and Daddy dive under the water.

I'm so glad he's such a good swimmer, I hope that keeps his a little more safe being around a pool. Ella, of course, really love being in the pool too! When we say, go get your swimming suit on it only takes her about 30 seconds to be ready and at the back door.
She ALWAYS canon balls in! I am going to call this "the many faces of Ryan"

Summer is here!

Ryan started school! He's officially a student again!

Ryan's parents moved back to Arizona from Washington state and are staying with us while they look for a new house.
It's been so nice having them around! They are so helpful with the kids and fun to hang out with.
After family home evening we made some smores in the back yard

The Shumway family came over a couple of times to swim and watch movies! Jack LOVES watermelon!

Jack has also really started getting over his fear of the water!

He loved riding on Ryan's back- UNDER the water!!

Summer is HERE!

The Cabin

I know, we just got back from a vacation.. But now that Ryan's home all the time we can finally do things like normal families- like having a weekend off! We were so lucky that our friends the Riggs invited us at the last minute to go with them up to their cabin in northern Arizona for the Memorial weekend!

We had never been there before! We stopped by the outlets on the way up! I love Gymboree outlet!

It took us a little while to get there, but it was totally worth it.

It was so nice to get out of the heat and into the cool fresh air!

The kids loved being outside and especially playing on the swings!

It reminded me of camping when I was a little kid in California

We spent the afternoon playing games, eating and just hanging out!

Their cabin is SO nice!!

That night we went out for a pizza dinner! Yum!

That night the kids watched a movie down stairs while the adults watched a movie upstairs!

The next morning there was more playing outside!
We also went and had the best breakfast of all time! It was at a little diner there in town. I wish that I had taken my camera with me, it was so good!

Us adults just hung out on the porch reading and playing games. It was so relaxing!

Our last night we went out for a nice dinner to- Jackson's Grill!

It was so yummy!

Outside they had a cute pond!

Before we knew it, it was time to go home yet again. It was so nice to have TWO vacations! The ride home wasn't as bad as the ride there.. except that Jack threw up in the car. I guess we can't go on a trip without him throwing up sometime!

Thank you Riggs for having us tag along! It was so much fun, we'll have to do it again sometime!
