Last week.....

We had such great weather last week, which meant a LOT of playing outside and riding bikes.
The Ballards came over to play! When the sun finally went down and the boys came inside they were filthy! Look at those scraped up knees!

One afternoon I wanted to take some pictures of the kids, but this one of Jack was all I got.
Too busy having fun I guess.
For the past couple of days it's actually been.... hot!
The kids, along with some neighbor friends got out the little pool
What's with boy's and guns?

Ella being crazy!!

Last week Paige had a swim birthday party and we brought our big water slide.
Jack was the first one to go down.
I thought he might be scared, but he wasn't.
He didn't even care that the water was pretty cold.
I LOVE that summer is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer!

Yeah!!! Summer break is here!
(Ella right before her last day of school!)
Ms. Smith and Mr. Stevenson
Ella's teacher and principal
These guys were so great! It was kind of tough for Ella to come into a new school midyear, but both of these wonderful people made Ella feel so comfortable and cared for.
Ella is very sad and is really going to miss having Ms. Smith as her teacher!
Right after school we headed over to Lisa's for some summer fun!
Little Miss Brielle- tomorrow is her big day! Her blessing!
We hung out for a little while before walking over to the park.
Those silly boys!
Later that afternoon it started getting pretty hot, perfect timing to go and get a treat!
These were no regular snowcones! These were the best ever! Extra syrup!
It's quite the local hangout.
Which makes me think... how much would it cost to start my own snowcone shop!?
Silly girls with their twin hair cuts!
I am SO excited that summer is here! I hope it says nice and warm from now on!
So we can get more snowcones!
This week, dinosaur museum, Paige's birthday party, Ella starts cheer and
ELLA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jack Bike 3

So as I said in a previous post, Jack has been asking to have his training wheels taken off for quite some time now.
So last week after some pretty intense pestering to Ryan, Jack finally got his way and Ryan took off his training wheels.
As Ryan and I walked Jack and his bike to the circle Ryan and I both said, this is going to last about five minutes before he asks to have his training wheels put back on.

We were both wrong!
We set the bike down, he hopped on and off he went!!
We were SHOCKED!

He did great keeping his balance, even around curves!
His only problem was getting going from a stop. It took his a while to figure out how to push off.
We are so proud of our little guy!
I still can't get over the fact that he's only 3 and riding this tiny little bike, without training wheels!
Then yesterday while at the park he started showing off some tricks!
I have no idea where he learned this, but he sure is good at it!!
We were all laughing so hard!

The last day of School

Today is Ella's last full day of school!
(Tomorrow she only goes for about an hour)
She was so excited to be done for the summer! However as the day has quickly approached, reality has set in that she isn't going to be able to see much of her school friends anymore.
She is going to miss school. She is already talking about this fall!
Today her class is having a Luau!
(Hence the dancing hula picture)
The class is going to play games and have a party!
I can't wait for summer!
It's finally started feeling a little more like summer around here, so that helps.
We have so many fun things planned! I'm so excited!

Ella's School Dance Concert

Today Ella's school put on a dance concert for all of the parents.
Ella was so excited and happy that Jack and I came to watch her perform!
(Ella sitting with her class, waiting their turn)
Jack and I had some snacks and hung out on the grass,
it was such a nice day!
Still waiting patiently!

There were so many cute dances and all of the children did so well!
All done....
Jack started feeling bored.
He took this picture... of my shoulder.
My little stud muffin!
It actually got really hot sitting outside!
I got a pretty rad sun tan line.... right where my watch was
Jack couldn't take it any longer and wanted to go sit with his big sis!
She loves showing him off to all of her classmates who think he's pretty cute.
Summer might just be around the corner!!
Only one more week of school left for Ella!!!
Then SUMMER BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!

Our new house

It's a long story, why we moved.
We knew when we moved to Utah that we wouldn't live in our house forever.
So when Ryan had a little break from school we decided that now was the best time to move, before the baby gets here! It's also a lot closer to school for him!
Ryan was a little sad about moving, again! But I was really excited to move on and get really settled! (I hadn't really unpacked before, knowing we would be moving again!)
The house is about 2,000 sf. Even though it doesn't have a basement it has a forth bedroom and a large garage.

Walking down the hall downstairs you come to a bathroom on your right
or continue on to the family room, kitchen and dinning room.

I LOVE the big island!
Going upstairs-
At the top on the stairs is the first bedroom.
Right now we are using it as an office/guest bedroom
(Anyone want to come and visit!!!??)
Sometime this summer we will turn it into the nursery for the new baby!
Keeping to your left in the upstairs hall you come to the children's bathroom and bedrooms
The kids bath
Jack was enjoying a little dip in the tub
Jack's room is a little tight, but he loves it!
Ella's room is somewhat larger, with a much larger closet!
Some of her furniture will go into the nursery.
We also haven't quite finished her room yet either.
I will have to post another picture when everything is hung up
At the top of the stairs going strait down a short hallway
you come to the laundry room and master bedroom

Ryan was very excited about the large tub in the master!
The backyard!
I like that we are on the end, we have a little more privacy that way
Walking behind our house you get to the circle!
I'm so excited for this summer when everyone is out of school!
There are going to be tons of slip n slides and pools out there!
So that's it, our new place!
We are so happy and excited! We feel so blessed to live in such wonderful places!!
