Ward Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday was our ward hunt. We had been looking forward to it for so long! We had to wake up SO early! We look out the window- RAIN! I swear it has been raining every freaking holiday here! We decided to brave the rain. Tons of people were there! We got there just in time to start the hunt! Jack did so well, he carried around his basket the whole time!
Ella and Grace!

They let the little kids go first!

Then the big kids were OFF! Ella was awesome!

Then they got out a launcher and launched toys out of it!

Although there was food at the park, Jack was way too cold! We decided to got to Village Inn, Melissa, Ava and Dillon joined us!

It was all fun and games until Jelly was everywhere.
It was so funny, everyone kept spilling drinks, poor Dilly spilled hot chocolate all over the table, himself and into his mom's purse!
Then as we are thinking that everything is alright again, we look over to see Dilly putting a little salt on his pancakes, ok maybe a lot of salt! Silly boy!
Thank you Melissa for coming with us, it was so much FUN! Also for the ride home and for having Ella play at your house ALL DAY! I owe you BIG time!!!!

Garden Tea Party

Ella and I had been thinking about having a little tea party for her and her friends for a LONG time, this week while it's so nice outside and with Easter coming up we decided it was the perfect time!

Ella helped me set everything up in the backyard!
I even attempted to do her hair in an up-do. We looked online until we found a picture of one that she liked and also one that I thought I might be able to do. It turned out so cute!

Almost all of her friends were able to make it! Everyone looks so nice! We had a little lesson on manners and etiquette. Then they ate sandwiches, fruit and cupcakes! (although I have to say that Ella's friend Kate pointed out that "we do not actually drink tea. If we did that would be giving into Satan and that Christ would be so disappointed in us." We had pink lemonade!) After they all watched the movie Cinderella! Thank you girl's for coming to our party, it was so much fun! You are all princesses!

Easter Bunny

This year due to having so much going on we actually had the Easter bunny come on Thursday! Ella didn't care, in fact I don't think that she even knew that that wasn't the norm! She was just so excited! They each got a coloring book, a couple little toys and some candy!Every year the Easter bunny brings Ella the same old baby chick.

Jack LOVES chocolate and balls- he was in heaven!

Poor Daddy, we had to wake up and do it before he went to work, he was still too sleepy!
Jack is so in love with birds! Every time he sees one he gets so excited!
He really did well at finding all of his eggs! We were so proud!

It was a perfect morning! The kids had so much fun!

After all of the eggs were found we made a big breakfast! Yum!
Yeah for the Easter Bunny! (I LOVE holidays!!!)

Coloring Easter Eggs

Ella was so excited to color her eggs! Looks like Ryan was too! (Thank you Grandma Sandy!)Ryan took it SO seriously! He worked on one egg for 10 minuets before putting it into the color.

It was Jack's first year where he could dolor eggs, so cute!

Once again, after coloring our eggs Ryan and I are cleaning up, we turn around and this is what we see- Jack dancing to American Idol... naked. What a stinker!!!

Fun with Friends!

This week Ella had so much fun with all of her friends! She had Beth over- they went swimming, ate lunch and played littlest petshop!

These are the girl's that we carpool to school with. They just love "rocking out" to Ella's Hannah Montana CD! They always ask me to turn it up and to roll down the windows! It's a dance party the whole ride home! (It's going to be SO SAD when the school year is over and Ella doesn't get to see all of her best friends everyday!)
Ava & Ella
Ava got to come and hang out with us one afternoon too, the girl's made some pretty flower collages! (THANK YOU Formor!!!!) It's was the perfect thing for SPRING! ( I don't know what the heck Ella is wearing!)

Jack-Jack just chillin! (You know several people have asked me if his name is really Jack-Jack? To everyone who is still wondering, his name is JACKSON! We did not name him after the character on "Incredibles")

Easter Pageant

To kick off our week of Easter, (yes, week! We did something springy or Eastery everyday!) We took the kids to see the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple for family home evening! I was so excited to go! I have heard many people talk about it and Ryan went several times growing up and always enjoyed it.
We got there two hours early and were able to get some really good seats! We took the wagon filled with treats and things for the kids to do while we waited.
It's more elaborate then Ryan had remembered, that or it's become better! Ella loved all of the pretty costumes but got scared of the lighting. Jack was TERRIBLE! At one point Ryan said- just take him out! Take him out where, we are "out"!? So I walked around the parking lot for most of the show. I'm glad that Ella got to experience it though. What I did see was very good. It was a perfect start to Easter week! Ella would not leave until she was able to take a picture with these girls! We had to wait a while, but to Ella it was well worth it. You can see by the look on Ella's face, she thinks they are SO cool!
Other then the stress of Jack being tired and wanting to be in his own bed we all had a great time! I couldn't believe how many people were there! So many none members! It was neat to see so many missionaries in action!

I love our church, I love our savior. What a wonderful thing it is, to know that he died for us and also that he LIVES!

Bailey Family weekend

To start off our weekend Ryan and I were going to go to the temple! Something we've been wanting and needing to do for some time! Grandma Sandy was so nice to offer to babysit for us! However when she was half way here we found out that the temple was CLOSED! Bummer! I seriously was sooooo sad!
Grandma took us out to dinner instead! It was such a nice restaurant, not somewhere we should have taken children. They had a lot of fun though and the food was so yummy!

Thank you Grandma!

We got together with a bunch of our friends and had a Catan-a-thon!
We love the game- settlers of Catan! Ryan who's always super good, LOST! I on the other hand never usually win- but DID!
People hard at... play.
The Ryster and me!
Thanks guys- it was SO much fun! I can't wait to do it again!

Saturday night while all of the Dad's were at the priesthood session of conference us mom's and kids went to the park for a picnic! Ella and Jack love being at the park- especially when almost ALL of their friends were there!

To finish off the evening we went with the Riggs to Ocean Blue! It's a super yummy frozen yogurt place that Justin's family owns!
We hope everyone had a good conference weekend! I always love listening to our Prophet and apostles! Rejuvenated for another 6 months!

Jack has a love for.......

Any kind of electronics! He loves cell phones, I-pods, CD/DVD players, TV remotes and playing on the computer! He doesn't know how to use any of them, at all. He just loves the sounds that come from them them he pounds on the keys. That and he wants to be a BIG boy.
{I love how he points! Adorable!}
