YMCA

One of the evenings Sarah and I took our kids to swim at the YMCA. It reminded me so much of the pool we would go to in Lehi. Ella loves to swim and it getting so good at it.
Ella and Neinah went down the big slide so many times! I wanted to go down with her but she would go with me, she just wanted to go with Neinah. Ethan was kind enough to go with me though!

After our fun swim Aunt Sarah treated us to some burgers at Wendy's!

Hanging out

My Mom watches Sarah's little boys during the day while Sarah's at work. I have fallen for this little man. He's one of the sweetest little boy's I've ever known. He has this deep voice that's adorable on such a little man.
If Bizzy knew that I was posting this I think that she would die of a heart attack. She finally got her braces off after almost 3 years! (oh by the way her name is Elizabeth but when she was little everyone would call her a busy bee, which stuck and now everyone just calls her Bizzy!) Don't we look alike!?
We had some day's of just lounging- those are my kind of days!
Jack has started this thing when he laughs- he breaths in hard and scrunches up his nose. He also started sucking on his top lip. If anything got on his lips- like soda, because he now knows how to use a straw (That's enough pay back Sarah! Enough with giving my baby junk!) he would try to suck it off. We were all laughing so hard!

Samuel & Francesca

My little brother Samuel and his girlfriend Francesca were kind enough to let me take some pictures of them. I wanted to practice before taking some of my sister Sarah and her fiancee Kreighton! Those will be coming shortly. Anyways, these might be a little different, let me know what you think.

Presents and Cake

Thank you to everyone who brought her gifts! They were perfect. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family!
Ella wanted a Disney princess cake and decorations. My Mom ordered the cake- it's the exact same one that she had when she turned 3. Ella thought that was pretty fun!

You can't see but the candles were sparkler ones that were hard to blow out and kids did confetti shooters!

The party

Ella and Emma munching on the yummy hot dogs
My cousin Emma, Ethan, Ella and my cousin Maisy
They found a toad
Baby Lucy, she's so cute and such a happy little lady

When everyone got there -my Aunt with almost all of MY cousin's. I was the oldest of the cousin's so most of my cousin's seem like they should be Ella's, my brother Aaron and his family and our good friends the Amodts- we had a BBQ and more pool time!

Ella's 5th Birthday

Ella woke up to a princess crown that she then wore all day. Her Aunt's cooked her her favorite thing for breakfast- pancakes!
We spent the morning decorating for her big party

Ella and Ethan

These two kids are so sweet together. They are only 6 months apart and have grown up being together for long weekends and holidays. Now that they live so far away we never get the chance to be with them. I wish that they got to be together more often.

Swimming

I'm not sure why she was so crabby in these

Grandma got the kids a little swimming pool! The water was so cold, Ella wouldn't ever get all the way in. Ethan was extremely excited and couldn't wait to get in. He also couldn't wait for someone to help in put sun block on- so he did it himself.
Our first night there we had a pizza party!
I love Ethan in this picture

WISCONSIN

The plane ride to Wisconsin

The FARM!
Ella, Jack and I flew to Wisconsin a couple weeks ago for a very needed trip to see my family! None of us had been out there in two years- so it was very a much over due trip. I had been concerned with having two small children on a three and a half hour flight alone, however it ended up being great. I had forgotten how green it was there. There is grass everywhere including in between the freeways and landing stip's. When we finally made it to the farm (we call it the farm because that's what Ethan and Matthew call it.) Ella loved seeing all of her Aunts and Uncles and especially Grandpa and Grandma. For everyone other then my Mom and Dad this was their first time meeting Jack! Everyone took a turn holding him and everyone thought that he looked just like me when I was a baby. It's always so nice to go back home where everyone loves you and is excited you're there. I love just hanging out with my Mom and my sisters!

Yes..... I'm alive!

The kids and I have been visiting my family in Wisconsin for the past three weeks! We had such a great time. I love my family so much! We went camping, had Ella's birthday and much much more. I took over 700 pictures while I was there, so be prepared... there is much to come!
(I took these pictures of Jack the day before we flew out to the farm!)
